Paint Sprayer – Aerospace/Automotive/Rail Components Only

Are you an experienced paint sprayer with a background in aerospace, automotive or rail? If you’re used to working with precision and delivering high-quality finishes, this opportunity could be the right fit.

We’re recruiting on behalf of a specialist engineering company that supplies high-spec components to the aerospace sector. They’re looking for a skilled Paint Sprayer who can follow detailed instructions and consistently produce top-quality work.

This is not a general industrial spraying role – the client is specifically seeking someone from a regulated, detail-focused background. You’ll be working with precision parts, not heavy plant, trailers, or structural steelwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing surfaces (cleaning, sanding, masking) for paint application

  • Applying primers, topcoats, and specialist coatings using compliant spray systems

  • Reading and working from technical drawings and specifications

  • Inspecting finished work, correcting defects, and maintaining quality standards

  • Maintaining and calibrating spray equipment

  • Recording all work completed and materials used

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in aerospace, automotive or rail spray painting

  • Confident with wet spray techniques and familiar with different coating systems

  • High attention to detail and pride in producing excellent finishes

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Flexible and safety-conscious approach

Please note: only candidates with industrial paint spraying experience e.g. aerospace, automotive, rail will be considered for this role.
